Since my skin can get irritated very easily, also it is highly acne prone, I needed a product with some soothing effect. I love Aloe vera product and use the plant itself as well for various reasons, but then I heard about this one in a youtube video that recommended products for irritated skin. So I gave it a go and I have to tell that it was a brilliant decision. I love the packaging. Moreover, the fact that it is quite a huge amount makes it a bargain for the price and you don't have to use a lot at one time either. So even after the first try I experienced what I wanted to. It is not suuuper moisturizing so I would recommend using a moisturizer after the aloe gel sinks in. Although I rarely use it just to hydrate my face, it makes my skin softer and noticeably less irritated. In addition, when my skin dries out anywhere else on my body it starts develop some winter rash and I use this gel to soothe the skin. It works like a miracle. So I definitely suggest trying it out on other parts of the body as well. Also, I opened the current pot in mid-December and still have some in it, even though I use it every day. All in all this is definitely something I will re-purchase, since helps me a lot in my fight with acne and skin irritation.
